Training and mentoring students and junior faculty are at the core of CFS’s mission. Focusing training of undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students, especially students from underrepresented backgrounds and from a range of disciplines, on issues relevant to SSA is a central role of the CFS RDRC. The CFS RDRC vision is to develop a cohort of scholars who will become tomorrow’s project investigators.

The CFS RDRC training program offers many competitive funding opportunities. While deadlines may be extended in some cases, the deadline for priority consideration is February 3, 2022. Applicants may apply to multiple opportunities; simply complete an application for each opportunity of interest.
