Training

Training and mentoring students and junior faculty are at the core of CFS’s mission. Focusing training of undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students, especially students from underrepresented backgrounds and from a range of disciplines, on issues relevant to SSA is a central role of the CFS RDRC. The CFS RDRC vision is to develop a cohort of scholars who will become tomorrow’s project investigators.

The CFS RDRC training program offers many opportunities:

Junior Scholar Intensive Training (JSIT) Summer Research Workshop

Retirement and Disability Social Policy in Residence Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Retirement and Disability Graduate Research Mentored Fellowship Program

IRP Extramural Small Grant on Poverty, Retirement, and Disability Research
